The paper was co-written by Dr. Angela Snæfellsjökuls Rawlings, Galadriel González Romero, Caitlin ffrench, Dr. Ólafur Páll Jónsson, Cody Alexander Skahan, Randi Stebbins, Adam Switala, and Daria Testo.

Firenze: EUI's Law Course "Imagining Planetary Legal Orders"
In June 2026, Snæfellsjökul fyrir forseta will join the European University Institute's Law Course "Imagining Planetary Legal Orders." The course will engage doctoral candidates and practicing lawyers in ethical discourse and practical actions relating to the Rights of Nature movement. Our contribution will be to work with the students to consider legal orders—real or imagined—that advocate for glacial-human relations.
